Tommy Angell

FOUNDING DIRECTOR

Role: Tommy founded Offshore Network in late 2013 and grew the business from a small UK operation to serving international energy markets in the Asia Pacific, Australia, North America, Mainland Europe, Middle East, Latin America and West Africa.

Tommy is now responsible for the Offshore Network as a whole, and works closely with the team to develop and deploy new content offerings for the offshore community.

Interests: Tommy spends a lot of time with his young family on the South Coast. He enjoys golf, following football (Tottenham Hotspur), American Football (Pittsburgh Steelers) and US Collegiate Sports (UNC Tar Heels).

Erin Smith

Global Accounts & Australasia Regional Manager

Role: Erin joined Offshore Network in 2018, and has specialised in Offshore Well Intervention conferences for the APAC, LATAM, AUS and MED regions. As of October 2021 Erin has taken on Regional Manager position for our new business division ran from New Zealand and will be solely managing the development of the business in Asia and Australia. As well as working on the Australasia division, Erin is the subject matter expert for business development and is Global account manager for Offshore Network client accounts.

Interests: Outside of the office, Erin likes spending time with her friends, enjoying walks and runs in the countryside (the next goal is the 3 peak challenge), skiing (aka enjoying a gluhwein on the side of a piste), watching rugby, reading books, attending the gym and travelling to as many places as possible.

Isobel Singh

Head of Northern Hemisphere Events and Team Lead

Role: Isobel joined Offshore Network's sister company, FinTech Network, in 2018 where she specialised in building Open Banking and Digital Transformation conferences for senior level finance professionals across the EU and APAC regions.

In 2020 Isobel transitioned to Offshore Network and is now responsible for the Offshore Well Intervention conferences for the EU and GOM regions. Isobel is also in charge of delivering the specialised Decommissioning projects and the OWI Global Awards. Isobel is also responsible for the management of internal projects based around strengthening the brand identity of Offshore Network as a whole.

Interests: Isobel is very sociable and enjoys her weekends with friends. She also enjoys keeping up to date with Politics (specifically US Politics), Podcasts (The Shrink Next Door, The Drop Out, Dr. Death), watching documentaries, attending the gym, sunbathing (as much as the UK weather allows!) and reading books (Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine).

Robert Daniels

EDITORIAL

Role: After being employed as an Editorial Assistant Apprentice for Alain Charles Publishing, Robert joined the Offshore Network team at the end of 2020. Responsible for researching and composing stories for the new Offshore Network website, Robert covers news from across the globe and reports on events for the team as they are held.

Interests: Classifying himself as a bit of a ‘history nerd’ Robert loves everything to do with the subject but has a keen interest in the medieval period. Despite this, he still has friends and loves going out with them, to karaoke especially. Although he enjoyed the extended lay off from exercise due to the pandemic, he is a keen rugby player (representing local club Old Gravesendians since he was seven years old) and fan (Wasps RFC).

Robert's Three Favourites: Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (the book, if you have not read this you are missing out), Lord of the Rings (the films, if you have not watched these you are missing out), my cat Nero (if you have not met him you are missing out).

Shaun Munting

MARKETING

Role: Shaun finished sixth form in 2019, at Carshalton boys Sports College. Following this Shaun completed his marketing apprenticeship, focussing on digital marketing, social media marketing and company websites.

In 2020 Shaun joined Offshore Network and since 2021 Shaun has run all of Offshore Network social media accounts, the various websites owned by the company and all external marketing.

Interests: Outside of work, Shaun loves to socialise as much as he can. He spends his time out with his mates, going to the cinema, writing movie reviews, listening to music and spending time with his dog.

Rachael Brand

Project Manager

Role: Rachael joined Offshore Network in 2021 and is responsible for Offshore Well Intervention conferences across the globe.

Interests: Rachael enjoys socialising with friends, travelling and trying new foods, watching rugby and binging Netflix.

Rachael's Three Favourites: Mojitos, sunshine and travelling.

Vinay Nair

Business Development Manager

Role: Vinay joined Offshore Network in 2021 to lead new technology sales. Vinay has over a decade of experience working with leading technology companies across the globe. He is based out of Offshore Network’s Middle East office in Dubai, but also oversees operations from Offshore Network's Indian office in Bangalore.

Interests: Geopolitics, reading, sports of all kinds (baseball is the current favorite), music, spending time with family and Chinese food.

Vinay's Three Favourites: Family, Indian classical music and Los Angeles Dodgers

Joseph Watson

Project Manager

Role: After graduating in 2018, Joe started his career within new tech marketing and business development, where he sharpened his business knowledge to assist new software product launches. Joe grew his experience by moving to Australia and basing himself in Sydney. These experiences put Joe in a great position to return to the UK and manage international projects for Offshore Network.

Interests: Joe is now responsible for well and decommissioning projects in West Africa & the USA.

Joseph’s Three Favourites: Travelling, Football, Tame Impala

Dominic Steffen

Project Manager

Role: Dom joined Offshore Network in 2022 after graduating from Exeter University and is responsible for the effective project management of global conferences.

Interests: Dom enjoys learning about history outside of work (especially about the Ancient Greeks and Romans) and loves to involve himself in sports alongside this. Dom's favourites sports to play are basketball and squash but the main sports he watches are football and Formula 1.

Leah Kelly

Editorial

Role: After embarking on an Editorial Apprenticeship in 2022, Leah began working for Offshore Network straight immediately. Leah is responsible for researching and writing news stories for the website, composing regional reports in conjunction with the conferences Offshore Network hold throughout the year, and providing editorial support for the rest of the team as and when it is needed.

Interests: Outside of work, Leah enjoys writing book reviews and trying her best to wade through her somewhat uncontrollable ‘to read’ list. She also enjoys visiting cocktail bars with her friends, seeing theatre productions and going on long walks to anywhere.

Leah’s Three Favourites: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, Piña coladas (the song and the beverage) and Tim Hortons.
