Now in its thirteenth year of operation, it has progressed into an industry-led peak body representing organisations across the entire supply chain. By providing opportunities for networking, training and collaboration, SEA connects and unites the subsea industry. With a member base in excess of 100 organisations, we also provide guidance and advice to companies considering entering into the subsea arena and acts as a focal point to promote the sector and maximise its opportunities as well as provide a national forum for collaboration, diversification and technology development.

The Society for Underwater Technology SUT is a multi-disciplinary learned society that brings together organizations and individuals with common interests in underwater technology, ocean science and offshore engineering. The SUT was founded in 1966 in London and has members from more than 40 countries including engineers, scientists, and many other professionals and students working in related areas. The SUT was founded to promote the further understanding of the underwater environment and to encourage cross fertilization and dissemination of ideas, experience and information between workers in academic research, applied research and technology, industry and government.
