The SPE Asia Pacific Decommissioning and Well P&A Symposium is scheduled to take place from 11–12 November 2025 in Perth, Australia.
The event showcases cutting-edge solutions and serves as the key platform for industry leaders, subject matter experts, regulators, service and technology providers, as well as researchers, to address challenges, success stories, and lessons learnt in the decommissioning and well P&A activities, particularly in today’s challenging economic climate.
Participants from more than 500 countries are expected to attend the event, among which more than 50 constitute industry and subject matter experts. The event is also a must-attend for professionals belonging to backgrounds such as Asset Management, Health, Safety and Environment, Operations and Production Engineering, Subsea and Subsurface Management, and Supply Chain, among others.
Income from this event will be invested back into the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE)—which is a non-profit organisation—to support many other Society programmes. Notable examples of programmes supported by SPE include, the Distinguished Lecturer programme, and SPE’s energy education programme Energy4me, along with scholarship and certification programmes that help provide even more opportunities for industry professionals to enhance their technical and professional competence.
